Noa Argamani

Noa Argamani, a 26-year-old from Be'er Sheva, is the only daughter of Yaakov and Leora Argamani, originally from Wuhan, China. A professional nurse, Leora came to Israel for advanced training, fell in love, and decided to stay.
In March 2012, during a rocket attack on Israel, Noa was interviewed to a newspaper: “Noa Argamani, a 14-year-old girl living in the neighborhood where a Grad rocket fell yesterday, said she is not afraid of the Grads. 'I mainly caught up on some sleep. But when I was arranging my room, we heard a siren and then there was a fall. I went outside and saw a huge hole in the road, it was kind of cool. I'm not afraid of such things, not scared of anything. Tomorrow as usual, I will catch up on sleep and visit my friends.'"
Noa is a student in the Department of Information Systems Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences at Ben-Gurion University.
Her friend from the university, Noa Stern, shares, "We love listening to music together, going to shows. Noa likes many genres of music, with a preference to Indian and alternative flavors."
On Friday evening, the eve of the Sukkot holiday, Noa and her boyfriend Avinathan Or had dinner with the parents. After dinner, they drove to the Nova Festival near Re’im. A few hours later, the massacre began. On Saturday 7th of October Hamas terrorists crossed from the Gaza Strip into Israel and attacked the Nova music festival.

Noa was shown being captured by Hamas terrorists along with Avinathan in a now viral video. In the video, Noa can be heard screaming, "Don't kill me! No, no, no!" while being forced onto a motorcycle, and Avinathan being restrained by two other Palestinian men. Noa’s picture, kidnapped on a motorcycle with a terrified look, was published around the world and is considered by many one of the most iconic, heart-breaking images of the kidnapped Israelis.
