Andrey Kozlov

Andrey moved to Israel from Russia around 18 months ago, leaving his parents and a brother in Russia. Andrey lives in Rishon LeZion. He is a graphic designer and a cook, and works in a restaurant in Tel Aviv. In July 2023 Andrey started a relationship with Jennifer, a 32-year-old Israeli woman of Russian descent who works as a flight attendant for El Al.
On Saturday October 7th, Andrey was serving as a security officer at the Nova music festival near Re’im. The last communication anyone had with him was at 9:15 that morning. After that, he was missing for several weeks until the military confirmed he was being held captive by Hamas in Gaza.
A couple of days following his abduction to Gaza, Andrey's mother, Yevgeniya, arrived in Israel from Russia. She, along with Jennifer, Andrey's girlfriend, are anxiously waiting for him. The unified message from his loved ones is clear: Andrey must be returned to them, now. Andrey’s loving mother and girlfriend have been actively working together towards his release.
In a heartfelt attempt to reach him, Yevgeniya, Andrey's mother, broadcasted a message on the radio, hoping he would hear it. Speaking in Russian, her words, though not understood by all, touched many deeply. She expressed her profound love for him, saying, "I love you very much, my biggest dream now is to hug you when you are free."
