Avigail Idan

Avigail is a sweet 4-year-old Israeli-American citizen from Kibbutz Kfar Aza. On Saturday October 7th, she was in her father's arms, while he was shot to death by Hamas terrorists. She succeeded to get out and ran in the Kibbutz. When the neighbor, Avichai Broduch, saw little Avigail running all covered with blood, he understood that she couldn't go back home and brought her to stay in the bomb shelter with his wife and children.
Avigail’s father; Roee, and mother; Smadar, were murdered that day. Avigail was kidnapped from the Brodutch home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza, along with Hagar Broduch and her three children: Ofri, Yuval and Oria. Avigail’s older brother Michael (9) and sister Amalia (6) hid inside a closet in the bomb shelter and thus were luckily saved.
Avigail celebrated her 4th birthday in captivity. She was released from Hamas captivity as part of a temporary cease-fire deal after 51 days in captivity, together with the Brodutch four.
Nowadays Avigail, Michael and Amalia live with their aunt and uncle and their three children.
