Dear Ofer Kalderon,

We have not forgotten you, your fate, and that of your loved ones and are happy, that you are free. Welcome home! You are forever in our hearts. Israel is not alone. You are not alone. There are also people in Germany who stand behind you and want to encourage you. There is a reason to look forward and keep going. It is a difficult, rocky road back to life, but I am sure it can be done. Whether you are surviving hostages or have lost loved ones, we wish you comfort in your grief. We pray for you.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Dear Ofer!

We have just returned from the Hostage Place in Munich. When I see all the pictures, tears come to my eyes. It's high time for all of you to come home to your loved ones again. Please stay strong and think of good times cykling in the wonderful nature close to your kibbutz. And your beloved kids are waiting for you!

שמי זואי ואני תלמידה בתיכון בית ירח בכיתה י"א 4

קראתי את השיר "לראות את האור" מאת ברק פלדמן ואני מביאה ממנו את הבית:

ולרגע יכולתי לנגוע

בקצה הכאב האפור

ורציתי לעלות גבוה

המילים האלה גרמו לי לחשוב על משפחות החטופים ועל מה שהן עוברות, הכאב שאתם נמצאים בו והאור, שאני מקווה שאתם וכל משפחות החטופים תראו כמה שיותר מהר.
