Shlomo Mansour

Shlomo Mansour

85

Shlomo, one of the founders of Kibbutz Kissufim, is known for his hard work and kind heart. Always ready to lend a hand, he's a man who deeply cares for others. Shlomo finds joy in repairing old toys with his grandchildren and takes great pride in maintaining a
beautiful garden.
"My grandfather is the cornerstone of our family," says Shlomo’s granddaughter, Yuval Mansour. "He's an amazing person, a man of peace, a giver. He rides around the kibbutz on his bike, and in his basket, he carries all sorts of things for emergencies, always prepared to help a friend. He also teaches woodworking classes to the children in the kindergarten."
On Saturday October 7th Hamas terrorists kidnapped Shlomo from his beloved family, his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his five siblings, and his friends in kibbutz Kissufim. Tragically, he was kidnapped from his home right in front of his wife’s eyes. Mazal, Shlomo’s wife, struggled and survived the attack.
Shlomo, approaching 86 years of age, is the oldest person who is held hostage by Hamas.
