Elisabetta Furcht
Elisabetta Furcht is a watercolor painter and educator at the European Institute of Design in Milan. Her work, primarily in watercolors but also embracing gouache, oil pastels, and colored pencils, captures the essence of daily life and natural landscapes, reflecting her profound connection to her surroundings.
Elisabetta's art took a poignant turn following the October 7th atrocities, deeply influenced by her father’s experiences during World War II. This personal history has intensified her sensitivity to injustice, motivating her to use her art to raise awareness about the hostages' plight. Through her evocative portraits, Elisabetta seeks to humanize and maintain global attention on those affected by the crisis.
