Daniel is the single mother of Emilia, aged 5. She works in an insurance company and the two live in Yavne.
Daniel and Emilia were kidnapped on Saturday the 7th of October while visiting family in Kibbutz Nir Oz. They were taken alongside Daniel’s sister Sharon, Sharon's husband David, and their three-year-old twin girls Emma and Yuli.
A video of Daniel and two other hostages was posted by Hamas on the 30th of October. In that heart-breaking video she cries out for help.
Daniel and little Emilia were released from Hamas captivity after 49 days as part of a temporary cease-fire deal.
