Dolev is a true family man,dedicating his free time to his wife and kids, as well as taking care of his parents and helping his siblings.
Dolev is a people person, he enjoys having friends over for coffee or beer and tries to do it on a daily basis.
Humor is a big part of his life, side by side with having both feet on the ground. He enjoys watching stand-up shows and listening to both comedy and current affairs podcasts.
Dolev keeps in shape and exercises regularly. He volunteers in not one, but two medical organizations – “Magen David Adom” and “Unitet Hatzalah”.
Dolev works at Qplus – a constructions and engineering company – in a QA role.
Dolev, along with his sister Arbel, aged 28, and Arbel’s boyfriend, Ariel Cunio, were all taken hostage together from Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7, when Hamas terrorists launched an attack, killing and kidnapping a quarter of the kibbutz residents.
The Yehud siblings are the third generation of their family living on kibbutz Nir Oz.
Dolev is married with four children; his wife, Sigal, gave birth to their fourth child while he is held captive.
The IDF announced on 02/06/24 that Dolev Yehud, was tragically killed by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023. Initially believed to have been taken hostage, Dolev's body was later identified in Israel following new tests. On that fateful morning, Dolev left his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz, to aid others amid the conflict. Tragically, he was killed while trying to save others.
His profound commitment to saving lives underscores the immense loss felt by his family, friends, and the community.
