Emma Cunio

Emma is an amazing and loving child. Born and raised in Kibbutz Nir Oz, she loves to play with trucks and mechanical tools.
On Saturday October 7, Emma was sleeping in her bed. The previous evening, she enjoyed a lovely family gathering at her grandmother Sylvia's house with another 20 family members who came to the kibbutz to celebrate the holiday together.
Emma was kidnapped from her home on the kibbutz along with her twin sister, Emma, their parents and four other family members. Emma endured 52 days in Hamas captivity, until she was released along with her mother, Sharon, and her twin sister, Yuli, as part of a temporary cease-fire agreement. Upon their return to Israel, Emma was hospitalized for ten days before being released to her grandparents' home.
Her father, David (33), her uncle Ariel (28), Ariel’s partner, Arbel (28), and her brother Dolev (35) are still in captivity in Gaza, and she hasn't seen them since.
