Farhan Alkadi Qaid

Farhan Alkadi Qaid lives south of the Arab Bedouin city of Rahat. He works as a guard at kibbutz Magen’s packing house.
On Saturday morning, October 7th, Hamas terrorists launched a surprise attack on communities and towns in Israel near the Gaza border. Farhan was at work that time, and was taken hostage by the terrorists during their attempt to take control over the kibbutz.
Farhan has two wives and is the father of 11 children, the youngest of whom is only six months old. During his captivity in Gaza, Farhan became a grandfather. He has always been the heart of the family, a pillar of support. His family and the entire community eagerly await his safe return home.
