Inbar Haiman

Inbar Haiman

27

Inbar Haiman, from Haifa, was an art student and a vibrant soul. Known for her passion for graffiti, under the moniker "Pink," Inbar left her mark on both the Israeli and global art scenes. She was also a fervent Maccabi Haifa fan, embodying the spirit of joy and creativity wherever she went.
Inbar had been volunteering at the Nova music festival on October 7. Inbar’s last moments of contact were with her boyfriend, Noam Alon, who later reconstructed the likely sequence of events leading to her disappearance. She had messaged Noam about the ongoing chaos, who in turn advised her to steer clear of the roads where the attackers were brutally targeting escaping party-goers.
In the agonizing search that followed, Inbar's family and her partner Noam turned to social media for help, sharing details about Inbar's distinct tattoos and the unique leggings she wore that day. It was through these efforts that they connected with two individuals who had been with Inbar during the attack. They recounted how Inbar initially hid under a stage with friends before seeking refuge under a bush.
The harrowing tale continued as they described how Inbar was discovered by two Hamas terrorists. She was forcibly removed from her hiding spot and placed on a motorcycle, marking the beginning of her captivity. The grim reality of her situation was later confirmed to her family and Noam through a video posted by Hamas on Telegram. It showed a heartbreaking image that shook all who knew her.
Inbar's legacy, however, goes beyond the tragic end she met. Friends and fellow artists have rallied to commemorate her life and art, organizing exhibitions in her honor and advocating for her release.

Inbar Haiman tragically became one of the many victims during the horrific attack by Hamas terrorists. On December 16th, 2023, the devastating news of Inbar’s passing reached her loved ones.
Her family, alongside the art and sports community, including Maccabi Haifa's goalkeeper Sharif Kayouf, who wore a pink jersey in her memory, continue to honor her spirit.
"Inbar was kidnapped and wounded, and we knew her time was borrowed. Yet, we never lost hope for a moment," her family stated. "Inbar will be missed every day, as she was a bright light to this world and touched so many people and hearts." Amidst the sorrow, her story remains a poignant reminder of the enduring human spirit and the devastating impact of terrorism.
Inbar left behind her grieving parents, Yifat and Chaim, and her brother, Ido.
