Matan is a good guy, modest and kind, who likes to help people. Matan lives in Kiryat Bialik with his mother Anat, his father Haggai, and his younger sister and brothers.
Matan serves in the Armored Corps as a tank driver, and on Saturday October 7th he was kidnapped from his tank during battle.
Matan is one of eight Maccabi Haifa fans who are held captive in Gaza by Hamas terrorists. The Maccabi Haifa club decided to fly his family members as well as the family members of hostage Ofir Tzarfati to a game, together with the team.
